$10.00 - On Sale
Change is constant. With new elections we bring new expectations and all the histories we've been carrying. This season is always exciting for me. I have thought about this image and poem a lot in the last four years. History, in the making, has never been easy. There is euphoria of captured moments. But there is always work to be done. That's the message I took from that clear November night four years ago. And it's the same message I hold today.

We want what only
the weather can give.
Pushing us toward inertia.
All my uncles
scraping off
bohemian mud
from their boots & brows.
1968-a typical workday
Dan Rather got mugged
and my father just redirected
down Lakeshore.
Following my future
footsteps in Grant Park.
Broke and rebuilt
myself.
Dust off my broadening shoulder.
My often sudden surprise -
to find stars
through street lights.
